True Blood series finale

Anyone else watch? I watched S1 on DVD and got HBO specifically for TB. Kind is sad to see it go but curious how they end it.

The finale was AWFUL!!!!!!! As was most of this season.

I have not watched it yet but I have never been more happy for a show to end. It has gone from a decent series to Sharknado.

As seems to be the trend with finales this one seemed rather anti-climactic. I did rather enjoy Sarah Newlin's fate but other then that it just seemed they did go out of their way just to tie up all loose ends with a nice little bow.

 

Unlike most on here I have enjoyed the show throughout it's run.

The more I think about it, the worse I think it was.

Thing is I have always loved a lot of the minor characters of the show. The main characters are terrible though.

I watched seasons 1 and 2 and thought it was amazing. Never quite got around to season 3. I'm going to make my boyfriend start at the beginning and watch with me...after we watch Californication.

 

We just finished True Detective. And of course Sons is about to start up so we will be busy with shows. Could be a while. Sounds like I didn't miss much though.

Gave up after Season 2. I tried really hard but it was too silly even for me.

 

Sorry to hear that it didn't end as well as hoped for the fans. Always bums me out when one of the shows I like ends that way.

It's not even that it just ended bad. It got worse and worse after season two to the point it was embarrassing that I watched it :lol2:

Thought it was appropriate I give my final remarks about True Blood since I never missed an episode.

 

After that finale I was wishing I could have experienced the True Death. I did not know a show could bottom out from the lowest of lows, but True Blood managed to do so.

This show went from creative to Sharknado level by the fourth season. Actually, that is not giving Sharknado enough respect.
