Braxton Miller Suffers Season-Ending Injury

Featured Replies

^^ Certainly doesn't sound good at all. Hopefully we're wrong.

Fact is it never healed correctly. He has been holding back throwing all spring and summer, then when he had to amp it up, after all there is a game in two weeks, he falls to the ground like a pitcher throwing a fastball. I'm hoping for the best news possible.

Hearing out of OSU camp that BM is out for the season. Unfortunate for OSU.

Just received an ESPN update that he is out for the season.

He's out for season. Since he's a senior, he can redshirt and come back next year... correct?

Knew it last night. Yes he can redshirt, I'm sure he will weigh all options.

JT the QB, you're up!

Just read something saying he had a 1 million dollar insurance policy if he never plays again. He has too decide if he wants to come back and finish what he started here, or take that quick million. I don't see Miller as much of a pro quarterback yet. Not accurate enough.

Working in Ohio, I brought this up this morning around the office, people here are in mourning, like the ship has sank before the season ever started.

It is true he has the policy. I am sure he and his family have a lot of thinking to do.

JT Barrett may not be the runner that Miller is, but I heard he has a better arm in terms of accuracy. Depending on Barret's success, every Buckeye fan will be searching the name "Torrance Gibson" religiously this season.

Barrett was the #1 dual threat QB in his class until he hurt his knee. Now 2 years later he gets his chance. Will be some growing pains but love his upside.

I remember getting him I was real excited. Still would love to see Gibson next year... with a certain RB named Damien in the backfield with him...

Gibson is an OSU lean and Harris is a UK lean, still work to do on both let's hope they both come.

Well that sucks. Have they said exactly what the injury is?

Was hoping it was your scar tissue theory. He dislocated his shoulder and probably tore his labrum. He never healed from the original surgery in February, wish it had been done by Dr. Andrews.
