The Dominicans are apparently sticking with their B roster. I was really hoping to see UK against some better competition. On a bright note, they should go 6-0 on the trip and the hype will be out the roof.

Oddly enough, the Dominicans did use their good players and still lost to Chalons-Reims. That's a shocking result.

Chalon-Reims (67): Lesca Remi (3), Da'Sean Butler (11), Michel Morandais (13), Lionel Chalmers (11), Gary Florimont (0), Mark Payne (8), Guy Edi (0) , Tasmin Mitchell (13), Luka Antic (0) and Darryl Watkins (8).

Dominican Republic (62): Edgar Sosa (5), Manuel Fortuna (0), Juan Coronado (5), Gerardo Suero (2), Edward Santana (7), Francisco Garcia (9), James Feldeine (14), Eloy Vargas (7), Orlando Sánchez (2) Eulis Baez (0), Ronald Ramon (5) and Jack Michael Martinez (6).

I am not sure we can be 100% confident based upon the competition so far. The Dominican Republic will be a better indicator.

Seriously you can only be confident if they beat the Dominican?

If you haven't seen enough to be excited about what this team then why would a win over DR change that?

Is that what I said, no it is not, reread my post.

The night before the game with Puerto Rico, I saw their players out late and drinking for quite a bit of time. This has been widely reported. Based upon that, I don't know what stock to put in those victories. When I look at the Dominican roster, I see players names I recognize and recall them being good players. Against them I have a better idea of the quality of the opponent and will be able to better measure this UK team.

Wait a second, are you in the Bahamas? If so I'm really jealous and what are you doing out so late?

To be fair, I would guess most of the PR players are used to playing drunk or hung over.

Johnson has shown nothing so far.

Don't get that one? I think he has been impressive, I mean he's not going to blow you away but he has transformed himself as a player. He is leaner, lighter, and much much much more agile and athletic. He has made some nice moves on the break going at the goal, plays I'm not sure he makes last year. He will still gobble up rebounds and be a load inside on the block, but now he has the ability to run the floor and finish in transition as well.

Just got back from the Bahamas. As a fan we can stay out late, players need to get to bed.:lol2:
