Any chance we can get spoiler alert warnings on posts talking about what happens in the comic book. I like reading this thread but don't want to know what's going to happen.

Really soon after Eugene confesses, the group ends up at Alexandria in the comics. I'm thinking the first half of this season will end with them arriving there.

I don't mind the filler shows that give some background, but what I don't like is that you only see one group during the show. I would think they would be able to peek in on some of the other folks during an hour show?

My apologies. I am guilty of revealing what happens in the comics a lot, so I will try to post the spoilers.

 

The reason I usually haven't posted a spoiler from the comics is because the specifics often don't get carried over. The very general aspects of the story (settings, characters) are found in both, but that's about it. Only until this current season have specific events been brought to the TV show, but even then it's with different characters (Bob getting his leg eaten was Dale in the comics).

 

Bob has not died yet in the comics. Andrea and Sophia are still going strong too. Carol, Tyreese, and Judith all die at the prison.

 

But I understand where you're coming from & will try to give a heads-up in the future. :thumb:

Comic Book Spoiler Below:

 

 

Alexandria is Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C. It's similar to Woodbury, minus an insane leader. Alexandria is hit hard when the outbreak originally occurs & the area is immediately abandoned. But an organized group of people returns and tries to rebuild their lives there, with pretty good success. Rick's group goes there, they end up taking over (in a good way), and their presence helps the community to have a decent existence--again, ala Woodbury. They call it the Alexandria Safe-Zone, but the area is again destroyed in a war with a group called The Saviors (led by a villain named Negan...worse than The Governor IMO). Rick's group ends up winning the war & again rebuilding Alexandria, where they currently live.

 

If the show follows the settings in the comic book storyline, Alexandria will soon be introduced.

Anyone else think it was creepy when Abraham and his woman were having voyeur sex while Eugene was watching?

Eugene could be watching a chess match & I'd think he was creepy.

I thought last night's episode was once of the worst in the history of the show. I just don't care about Abraham and even without reading the comics it has been pretty obvious that Eugene was not who he claimed to be. The only solace that I take from last nights episode is that the stupid story line of getting Eugene to Washington D.C. is hopefully over.

All in all i think this episode was ok. Way better than the previous beth episode. IMO. But agreed some silliness occured when it should not have happened. (Fire truck pemp etc...)
