2014 Berea Invitational Boys Basketball Tournament December 27-30 (each team gets 4 games).

 

As of now these are the only teams I know of that are in it; Berea, Estill County, Garrard County, Madison Southern, Model.

 

Madison Central maybe in it, I don't know that as of yet tho

16 teams- Clark county, Berea, Garrard County, University School of Jackson (TN) Oliver Simmons coaches that teams former uk player, Whitley County, West Jessamine, Lewis County, Tates creek, Estill County, Russell County, Mercer County, Clay County, Pendleton County, Harlan County, Fleming County, and Owen County

Looks like a pretty decent field.

Don't know about brackets, but the last two years (at least) it was a straight 16-team bracket with each team guaranteed four games. First round losers went into consolation.

I thought for sure Model was in it and I miss looked on Madison Southern's schedule, I thought they were in it but they are going to Bowling Green for a post christmas tournament.

Yeah, that seems odd. Berea always has a solid tournament with good teams, but I can't recall them ever not playing in it.

Harlan County will play Pendleton County, not Covington Scott

Why is Berea Community not playing in their own tournament?

Berea done this same thing about 3 years or so ago when Holmes, Estill County, Somerset and Madison Southern played, I think those were the only four teams that actually played in it so it was like a round robin.

 

Berea is hosting a Tip-Off Classic Dec 5th & 6th that they are apart of.
