Simon Kenton Future Schedule for 2015 and 2016

Featured Replies

From what I have heard it sounds like CovCath and Highlands will be on the schedule.

That would be great for NKY football. Hope it works out.

Very nice pickups, agree the games should be exciting. Are they continuing their series with Collins or are they concentrating on local?

From what I've heard, Scott and SK will resume their series after not playing for a few years.

Ryle

Dixie

Campbell

Conner

Cooper

Scott

Highlands

CovCath

Beechwood

New Cath

That would be awesome! Maybe Jeff could squeeze in St. X.

Is this the 2015/2016 set schedule? If so that is certainly a nice schedule.

No sir. Just speculation based on the district, what UK has shared and assumption that SK would like to continue the series with New Cath and BW to a lesser degree.

I don't believe Marksberry and Rash have made up as yet. Even so, I don't see value in playing any 1A team other than Mayfield.

Beechwood most years will be a solid game for just about every team in NKY. If Beechwood is the worst game on your schedule, you've put together a pretty tough schedule.

SK is very close in talent and ability to Cov Cath, BW looks like a jv team next to Cov Cath.

SK needs to learn to beat teams in which they do not have a depth advantage. I don't see any team in this area competitive with SK that plays kids two ways.

My comments regarding BW were not a shot at them or my preference to play New Cath over them. I was considering the 'issue' that some have cited between Rash and Marksberry, if there really is one.

Sustained excellence is difficult (some would argue that it is even more difficult than getting there). SK has completed 2 solid seasons since they laid that turd in 2011. Can we see if they can be competitive this year and maybe even next before we proclaim them as the 2nd best program in NKY?

I know that comment was edited out, but it was way too amusing not to respond to. :D

Not sure what BW team you watched but you couldn't be more wrong. The comments about SK, well we'll see if SK can keep it up for the next few years before crowning them.

Yes, we fell in 2011 but our record in the past 5-6 years validates my statement.
