June 25, 201412 yr I know it's not until tomorrow but as it gets closer there's been more and more chatter of trades that may happen. Here we can post trades, etc. leading up to the draft. Seen just a few minutes ago that the Heat are trying to package Norris Cole and the 26th pick to move up to get Shabazz Napier.

Seen just a few minutes ago that the Heat are trying to package Norris Cole and the 26th pick to move up to get Shabazz Napier. Isn't he just a reboot of Chalmers? Don't see him being any real help.
June 25, 201412 yr Repeat post from the Love thread, but here goes: Trade I heard yesterday on ESPN radio while going to get some KFC (so maybe I was distracted by that taste of Kentucky down in Texas) was Orlando offering the #4, #12, and Arron Afflalo (yes, it's spelled Arron) for Cleveland's #1. I don't know who blinks first if that one is for real. If I'm Cleveland and I have what I already do, plus a chance at LeBron, I think I'd be pretty tempted to take the #4 and #12, snag a Vonleh/Smart at #4 and Saric/Payton/Harris (or even, gulp, Gordon) at #12, pair them with Irving, Afflalo, Deng, Varajeo, Thompson, Hawes (really underrated), Waiters, Bennet, etc. and see how LeBron feels about coming home to that depth.

Not sold on Exum personally, but I think if they're going to lure LeBron, then they want to make that move. If they think LeBron isn't coming back, then I want Wiggins for the long term. Hindsight is 20/20 tho and I'm not sure what they'll do in the chase. Even though I'm not a fan of Exum, if I'm Cleveland, I'd LOVE for Vonleh to slide to me at #4, then take whoever is left over at #12 after someone makes a dumb pick or two. Let someone else take a guy like McDermott and gobble up Dario Saric, Elfrid Payton, Rodney Hood, or even reach on a guy like PJ Hairston if everyone else is gone, you've had him in for workouts, and are just in love with him. Take the best available and find out who can and can't play once you see them all together and sorting things out for themselves. With what they have and Afflalo, how bad could things really end up going, especially considering you are Cleveland to begin with?
June 25, 201412 yr Author Apparently the Kings have 3 offers on the table for their #8 pick. 2 would be swapping actual picks before 2pm tomorrow and the other is a draft night trade after the player has been picked.
June 25, 201412 yr I'm not even figuring LeBron into my calculations if I'm in the Cavs front office. How can LeBron EVER go back and play for Gilbert after the stuff he pulled? Am I out on a limb here? I can't imagine him going back to Ohio...
