June 16, 201412 yr I think maybe Luis Gonzalez could be considered for Arizona. What about Dave Steib for Toronto?? I'm inclined to go with Stieb as well — he was outstanding for the Jays during their rise in the 80s and helped lay the foundation for the '90s WS teams.

June 16, 201412 yr I'll throw a wild card in there with the Angels, given their long history of transient stars: How about longtime Angel Brian Downing? Often overshadowed during his time, but was a solid player who was a great table-setter at the top of the lineup for the Halos, drawing a ton of walks and HBPs while being one of the AL's top OBP guys before advanced metrics were cool. Also was outstanding on defense.
