June 13, 201412 yr Author Better be careful. The Russian guy that owns the Nets is said to be pretty heavily mobbed up. He may send a couple of guys to LA to 'speak' with Mr. Sterling. His daughter is very hotttt

June 14, 201412 yr I would think that this is something that could end up playing into the hands of the rest of the league's owners. Wouldn't his doing this be a sign that of the lengths he might go to in order to damage the brand, and thus be a justification as to why they'd want him gone? I think Sterling is going to end up making one too many moves and just royally screwing himself.
June 14, 201412 yr Author He is a billionaire, how can be possibly screw himsel over. He has nothing to lose.
June 14, 201412 yr He is a billionaire' date=' how can be possibly screw himsel over. He has nothing to lose.[/quote'] His money or a big chunk of it? His life of he messes with the wrong person? Such as the Nets owner who was mentioned above? Being committed? And as JW24 mentioned, screwing himself over on and lawsuit Vs the NBA?
June 14, 201412 yr Sterling is a bitter old man who I despise. But I can't say I don't enjoy the image of all these owners sweating things they've done in the past. We all have some sort of dirty laundry it just is to different extremes. I'm guessing there is some juicy and entertaining stuff that can be uncovered.

Dan Gilbert of Cleveland didn't exactly make his money on the up and up. If I'm not mistaken, he made substantial gains from sub-prime loans and other predatory lending practices.
