Bracken County hires Jeremy Miles

Featured Replies

Anybody have any info on the new coach? This is the first time I've heard his name.

Last we heard is that Sam Elsbernd would get the job. He had interviewed 4 times. A former assistant at Holmes and taught at Scott. What happened to him?

I think he was an assistant at University Heights at one time.

Can't really say this hire is a homerun at this point. Many of my sources don't know him.

Sam Elsbernd doesn't teach at Scott, he is a Scott assistant coach.

Miles per Danny Weddle's twitter was a former UHA assistant and former Pikeville College asst. and St. Catharine College asst.

The nation's long ordeal has finally ended.

Has it? Sounds like there's a lot of unanswered questions still!

On the bright, just be happy for the guys that didn't get this job (or the MoCo gig).

Good luck to him. Probably should take up a collection and get him a flak jacket

So we still don't know what job he will have outside of coaching.

I was beginning to think he'd retired from the Navy and was moving to Bracken Co. to help out an old friend who had an opening.

Watch out for the gym at Terhune.....
