Just got back from camping/trail racing myself.

Before and after the storm hit.

I understand. It rained hard on us the first night and another good rain (over .5 inches) the next day. The rest of the time in was good, until the morning we were packing up to leave. It came another down pour and we came out of the woods in the 4-wheel drive sideways.

Heading out to do some beach camping/kayaking tomorrow.
enjoy, I'm ready to go back

Now that is camping.

Thanks for the pics, Godot. How was the fishing?

FKW, sorry about the washout, that makes a camping trip into a real "roughing it" trip. Good memories though.

Nothing worse than packing up in the rain

The fishing was great. We ate fish (blue gill, bass, and Catfish) all four days and we both took fish home with us.

True, had to come home and set the tents back up so they could dry out.

Did you catch any nice cats on the jugs?

Poor Mr. lawildcat loves to camp but he married a city girl! We are the ultimate Green Acres couple.

I didn't know if anybody noticed those jugs. Yes we did. Got several that were 20 to 24 inches long. I got some fillets that were bigger than my hand.
