I personally expect a very good season for them. Very talented RB transferring to SW this year will bring them another very good athlete.

 

They were MUCH better than their record last season...played very tough in many losses last year.

French is good enough to chalk up several more wins just from his coaching to any team that is down. If you have talent to go along with his coaching ability, then the sky is the limit.

Agreed on all of this. They didn't go 1-9 vs. a bunch of slaps.

 

All Coach French knows is to win, he will do great there IMO.

The first thing that Coach French needs to do, and in my opinion WILL do it, is to instill discipline on the team. In the games I saw them play last year there were way too many silly penalties that cost them in key situations...not to mention all the unsportsmanlike personal fouls that were called against them.

I expect SW to be much, much better. The new & correct scheme/technique alone will garner them more wins. Throw in French with the coaches he has brought with him. I also pick them to be a sleeper to win their district.

Who did he bring with him? I think maybe his son, but who else came with him?

What schemes/tech are being correct just me....

Im always interested in what SWHS fans have to say. They yell the loudest and beat their chest harder than any team in that area...yet have had very little success.

To be fair, they have everything there needed to be successful as far as facilities, athletes and numbers...it comes down to support from the school and coaching.

Who are the new coaches?
