That's you. Millions more watch it because of personalities.

Lebron has the makeup of a fighter pilot. Very cool under pressure. The Heat are putting a beat down on the Pacers.

Wrong thread. sorry.

No offense, but I think that's silly. And I don't know one person who watches basketball or any other sport for personalities.

None taken.

Tim Duncan is one of the greatest power forwards to ever play the game. Arguably the greatest. When it comes to playing basketball he has played basketball "the right way" his whole career. The Big Fundamental. The King of the Bank Shot. Most boring superstar ever. MJ had personality. People watched him. Shaq had personality. People watched him. Magic Johnson had personality. People watched him. Kobe had moxie. People watched him. Lebron has swag. People watch him. Russ is Russ. People watch him. KD is Mr. Nice Guy. People watch him. Dwade is dirty. People watch him. KG is a studio gangster. People watch him. You know who watches Tim Duncan? Spurs fans. Why? Because he is boring. Boring personality. Boring in game personality. Boring game skills. For some, old school folks maybe, Tim is a "breath of fresh air" but Tim isn't bringing in the casual viewer even though he is one of the greatest players to ever play the game. Has there ever been a player of his stature who could bring in the casual fan? Remember the Spurs/Pistons Finals in what....2005? Remember the Spurs/Cavs Finals? Nobody watched the Spurs/Pistons and those were two complete "teams". Spurs/Cavs? Once we got to game 2 and realized the Lebrons didn't have a chance the whole country checked out. Except for Spurs fans.

That's all I am saying. If Timmy was just a little bit compelling more people would watch him. Hell, I'd argue that if he was just a little more compelling the who was the greatest player from 1996-present argument between Kobe and Tim would have more steam.

You are missing my point. I think that's a stupid reason to not watch a team. I can tell you that many people I know hate the nba, mainly because of guys like Westbrook, or a better example would be Wade.

The spurs at some times were a little boring. In Duncans prime they probably were. They're not now imo. They run one of the most exciting offenses in the nba. Anyone who says they're boring now hasn't been paying attention

I haven't been watching them. Haven't seen them since the Finals last season. Watching tonight though. They better excite me. :lol2:

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that Kwahi Leonard and Danny Green might not have the best of friendships?

May just be the way the offense is set up, but you never really see them looking for each other, don't see them talk and interact a lot, and just don't really see any other signs that despite their age, they don't really have much else in common?

Young TMac fails again despite the best young roster a star has ever had. It's tough winning a championship with 3 of the best 20 players in the league.

With all due respect the Spurs have likely been the best team in basketball the last two seasons. Miami got lucky and stole one last year in the Finals but it appeared SA was the better team, looks as if they are even better this season.

Are you going to say the same for Lebron and the Heat who also likely have 3 of the top 20.

All I'm saying is no shame in losing to the Spurs right now. Let's not forget the Thunder did beat them a couple of seasons ago.

Yes, in fact I was overly critical of Miami after they lost to Dallas. This year would be more understandable as it is the fourth Championship appearance in a row, and DWade is clearly diminished, though playing much better.

Miami has nothing to prove. They have 2 rings, and have overcome tons of adversity over the past four years. In the face of adversity OKC has faltered.

Unlikely they even get past the Grizzlies in round 1 with a healthy Mike Conley and an non-suspended Z-Bo.

Where are the anti-Durant articles? That's all I'm saying. He has infinitely better teammates than Jordan or LeBron did early in their careers, yet none of the pressure. In the post-Shaq years it was said Kobe couldn't win and he would have killed for the support KD has.

I think Westbrook hurts OKC more than he helps. He's too selfish.
