The point still stands. They should be counted just the same as everyone else.

Isn't that what playing an independent schedule is basically? You opt out if the class you fall into enrollment-wise and schedule teams who have similar size rosters

We actually have a few schools in Georgia who play no region schedules. They usually play teams that are just a few years old or some smaller schools that they can compete with.
