May 15, 201412 yr He is very accurate with short passes, it's the down field throws that he isn't very good on. when you throw the majority of your passes short then you can have great accuracy stats, but I see what I see and that is what I'm going on. In this day and age of the rules in the NFL, a avg at best QB can put up great numbers because the defense can't cover receivers like they used to be able to do. Look at Andy Dalton's accuracy numbers, they are much better than the reality of him as a QB in the league. Arm strength can be achieved. Playing in a pro style offense in college will benefit him more than any lack of arm strength will hurt him, IMO.

I worry about Teddy being a rookie when the Vikings are in a "win now" mode with Adrian Peterson racking up mileage. I also worry about how he'll do in the elements. The Vikings will be playing outdoors the next two seasons while the Metrodome is renovated. Much was made about his arm strength (throwing the ball in the wind and snow) and his hand size (getting a grip on the ball in the cold weather) during the draft process. I'd feel better about him if he were in Tampa Bay or somewhere where these things weren't an issue.
May 17, 201412 yr Author ^ If there was a QB in this class that is capable of stepping in right away it is Bridgewater. That being said throwing him out there right away in those elements is scary. I agree with your analysis though, if he goes somewhere else I think he would be much more comfortable.

He's a fourth round pick though, so don't know if I'd call him a bust. I can see what the Texans see in him that he has a big arm, and I'd rather have him than Derek Carr.

As a Jags fan one of the most satisfying things from this draft was that the Texans didnt get a QB :lol2:
January 3, 201610 yr Author 2014 DRAFT It wasnt labeled like I did the 2015 one. Okay so I got bored and decided to look this thread up. We are at year 2 of this draft and this has to be on the best draft classes to come out in some time. So lets take a second to review this thus far. Best players from this draft in tiers IMO Elite Tier Khalil Mack, Aaron Donald- Already 2 of the top 5 best defensive players in the league right now. Zach Martin- Probably one of the best guards in the NFL Step Down from Elite Odell Beckham Jr- Best WR from this loaded WR draft CJ Mosley/Anthony Barr- Pair of great young LB in the league right now Blake Bortles/Derek Carr- Best QB's from this draft. Gonna be slinging for years to come. Most important position in sports so they go up as far as importance. Good players Mike Evans/Allen Robinson/Brandin Cooks/Sammy Watkins/Allen Hurns- What a freaking loaded WR class. Ha Ha Clinton Dix- Been very solid for Green Bay Deone Bucannon- Key to Arizona defense this year Feel free to add into this. Trying to make it an early chat.
January 3, 201610 yr Author Busts so far Clowney- had so much hype it was only to be expected. Injuries didnt help but he has been less than impressive with his time on the field. Manziel- :poop: Justin Gilbert- Only reason this dude hasnt been cut yet is because his drafted position Greg Robinson- He's been serviceable but not for where he was drafted. Feel free to add opinions.
