May 7, 201412 yr I don't understand the decision. Behind the scenes stuff? Eyes on someone else (e.g. Steve Kerr)? And I thought CP3 was on record as supporting Jackson. The players absolutely loved him... which is incredibly rare in a professional sport for all the teammates to have the coaches back (including the star players) and he gets canned anyway. I heard that he was getting fired no matter what unless they made the finals :no:

May 8, 201412 yr I read an article today, I believe it was a Q/A with a beat writer from San Jose. He said Jackson is good at managing down but not so good with managing sideways or above. Some crazy stuff happened with assistants late in the year, I believe Scalabrine got canned for taping some Jackson tirades.

Joe Lacob had way too high expectations for Jackson and the Warriors. You take a team that was two years from posting just 23 wins and you expect them to reach the NBA Finals or it's a bust? Something is wrong there.
