High School to U.K. trivia question

Featured Replies

A guy asked on another forum: Does any high school in Kentucky (other than Union County) have three or more graduates who have played for U.K.?

Not my field of expertise, but I would guess at least one of the Lexington schools has. Anyone who has the answer to that one gets a shiny gold star.

(The Union County guys are Larry Johnson, Dwayne Casey and Freddie Cowan.)

Bryan Station had Jack Givens, Melvin Turpin, Leroy Bird, & Scotty Baesler.

Heres a link I found that has all (or at least a lot of) players that played for Kentucky from Kentucky. Includes other states as well

UKFan10, we have a winner! Now I'm going to have to look for a shiny gold star.

Since Lexington High, Lexington Senior and Lexington Henry Clay are all the same school...looks like that would be our champion: 36 guys from Blue Devil territory.

Hard to believe St. Xavier has twice as many players as Ballard and the same number of as the entire state of Missouri.

Ballard has only existed since the 1970's, St. X since 1864.

Awesome list.

Also interesting to see all the HS that are no longer in existence in KY.
