Is it possible that athletics was not even a consideration for this change in schools?

Can't you solve this issue by only playing athletes 'up' if you don't have enough in the current grades to support the roster? BTW, hearing more than two from Woodland to SK.....

Most is speculation but I've had several people say that Buckner is SK bound. Keep in mind that my info is speculation only based on what I've been told.

Not true. Coaches were told after she completed her 8th grade season. No way a kid who announces that she is not committed to a program gets varsity time.

Wanna bet - She did and everyone including Jeff Morgan knew she was leaving

If that is true then SK is really loading up. She is a really nice athlete to go along with the girls they have coming up. That will hurt Scott Soccer and Track programs as well. Not sure Scott cares that much as evidenced by the efforts they have put in their girls programs over the years but she is already one of their top athletes in those sports. Would have added some much needed help with their basketball team too. Way too many girls leaving that program. Scott really needs to look into that issue.

That's been fairly common knowledge for quite a while.

High school coaches will give an opportunity to a talented MS player if they can help the HS team win. That also gives the coaching staff a year or two to convince the MS student to stay for high school and continue playing. Sometimes it works and they stay, sometimes it doesn't and they transfer.
