I'm supposed to work today, but I don't think its likely. They won't let the vendors in if the tarp is on the field before the game. If I have any updates before I leave my primary job, I'll let you know. Only time they could reschedule, would be May 22nd, but that would mean 20 games in a row for the Reds (no idea if that date is even open for St. Louis). Unless they went the double header route on May 24th or 25th (both are already scheduled night games. I'd imagine they would choose the 24th of those too).

April 3, 201412 yr We just left, had info that they will try to start by 5pm. Reds want to call it and get out of town, but St Louis wants to wait, as they don't leave until about 2-3am. Heard that they want to attempt to play so they don't have to have a double header with the Redd later when we get some DL's back. I was told both teams have to agree? Thought it was up to the home team?

Thought it was up to the home team? I hope they play it then, Homer puts up freakin' donuts for 5 innings, we score on a passed ball by Molina and it comes a deluge after the bottom of the 5th. That'd serve them right.
April 3, 201412 yr Don't see them playing, I'd be shocked. It's still absolutely pouring rain here in Louisville so I'd be pretty surprised if they pulled up the tarps at any point today given that this system still has to get through up there.
