However, considering Beam was bought by a Japanese Company I think they need to do everything possible to instill confidence in their brand and hiring a foreign born actress is a horrible marketing move in my opinion.

We are the wretched refuse." Truth be told, I don't think all that many people outside Kentucky are worried about whether Jim Beam is owned by a Japanese beverage conglomerate. It's still going to sell. I also don't think many people really care that Mila Kunis wasn't born here. She's an American treasure as far as I'm concerned.

This is probably the only part of the entire country that scrutinizes its bourbon much at all on a large-scale basis. Bourbon is not a common drink in most places. They've been a whiskey driven by national sales and marketing for years now.
