Dilemma

Featured Replies

I am thinking about going to either the 8th or 10th region finals tomorrow night and can't decide which one. Help me decide, and does anyone want to ride along? I'll drive and can take 3.

:confused:I have never been to the Mason County Fieldhouse, it is a special place in Ky High school basketball, so I would choose the 10th. However, if have been there, go with the best matchup.

Nothing like a final at The Fieldhouse; and it should be a good game. Like a lot of folks, I thought that Campbell County was a year away, but they can give Montgomery County all they can handle if they're hitting on all cylinders.

I think the 8th will be a better game, sadly as a guy who roots for the Camels, and while the Fieldhouse is awesome, Henry Co's environment is pretty special.

BM I would go to either with you but I have 3 of my department minions on vacation this week and have to work late to cover their stuff.

Should be two good games tonight. Being biased, I'd go to Henry Co. to watch SK/South. I believe it will be the more competitive of the two. I think the CC/Mont. game will be won by a wider margin. Both are great venues for HS BB.

As someone who has been to several regional tournaments in the 8th and 10th (I have ties to Owen Co in the 8th and Bracken Co in the 10th), I slightly prefer the Fieldhouse, but "the Roy" at Henry Co. is pretty good, too. Depending on where you are in NKY, both are surprisingly accessible, Mason Co HS can be seen from the AA, while Henry Co HS is probably 7-8 miles off of I-71 on US 421. Good roads all the way.

I think South Oldham-Simon Kenton is pretty much a toss up, not sure if Campbell and Montgomery is.

I dont think you can go wrong with either.

Believe I am heading to Mason Co. since I have never been there for a game, alhough I think the 8th region final will be a better game. I have been to Henry Co. for games and finals several times and it is an outstanding venue.

Hope to see some of the BGPer's. I'll be in a rust colored shirt with a Bengals hat. Not sure you will find me in the crowd if it is a big one. I have no idea where I will sit since I haven't been there for a game.

I am assuming a 7:00 start

7:00 is correct.

Me, Edna, and Betha need a ride. Pick us up around 6ish? Care if we smoke in the car?
