I say no. They start five freshman.....who else does that? Particularly with upper class men on the bench? So starting 5 freshmen is horrible? Did you say the same thing with Michigan and the fab five? last I checked they never won the NCAA either. Whe you have 5 freshman that are possibly better than the upperclassmen you think they should sit the bench? Why doesn't duke sit Parker, last I checked there are upperclassmen that play the same position as Parker does. Your arguments are weak and clearly very every biased and full of jealousy apparently. So what is your excuse for the UK final four team of 2011 where the majority of the starting lineup were freshman and the 2012 National Championship team where 3 starters were freshman and the other 2 were sophomores? Apparently when you have the "right" players, it doesn't matter how old they are. Last I checked those two teams had more Freshman starting than Duke and went further in the tournament. Apparently using freshman starters as a reason a team fails isn't very accurate. It all comes down to the players and the ability to play as a team etc. no matter what class they fall in.

March 10, 201412 yr What is amusing is there is so much dissention over ranking that dont matter. You realize the AP poll is as useless as teats on a boar, right? A lot of sports writers are Syracuse grads. They actually watched the game, and realized Duke was pretty good. That said, to the overlying theme of this thread, I doubt anywhere else in the country this is still a topic, yet the obsession with the perceived bias never dies in Kentucky. I think the point has been made more by UK fans than the Duke fans defending. Pure obsession. Let it go man.

I think I may now rest my case, it's been proven what I've said all along about this.
