Sounded like a game that started off incredibly slow, then picked up. Huge run by KCC where Christian and Justice carried them. Hall had a nice game as well.

Sounded like a great game

Justice with some good free throw shooting in that final minute. PCC, not so much.

Sounded like a great atmosphere.

28 from Justice, including 10-13 FT's.

Incredible considering that all 28 came in the 2nd half as well.

I was there, great atmosphere. Knott just executeda game plan at the end and wanted it more.

I think Perry had a 9 point lead with a little over 4 minutes left in the game. I thought they had it in the bag. But Knott never quit. Still had chances but missed free throws and some crucial turnovers doomed the Commodores.

Great atmosphere. PCC led most the way. Justice led a comeback and took over in the 4th quarter. He also drew what I consider the game-winning charge late. There were some questionable calls both ways and I'm sure some PCC folks will point a finger a the out of bounds call that didn't go their way late. At the end of the day, Justice was really good and Hall out player Johnson offensively.

Listening to the game, I was given the impression that Johnson didn't look very hot (at least in how he scored the ball). It seemed as though most of the times I heard his name called, it was when he'd shot a three.

He missed some 3's, had a bunch of rebounds and finished with 7 points. I think had 13 points.

Perry still should have won this game, though. They had a 9 point lead a little over halfway through the 4th quarter. But they stunk it up down the stretch, missing free throws and making turnovers. Of course, Knott has to be given credit for getting intense with their defense and simply refused to lose. When Justice was scoreless at the half I told the guys I rode with to the game that he was the type of player that wouldn't get his head down. He can zapp an opponent with points in a hurry. And he did. 28 points in the second half in a game with the emotion and intensity of this one is amazing.

Now on to tomorrow night to Cordia vs Hazard. Should be another big crowd.

And it was HOT in the arena. I sat in the last row on the side behind the benches and thought I was going to melt melt down due to the heat in the gym. If I go tomorrow night I'm sitting closer to the floor where it's cooler. A huge crowd and great atmosphere for a ball game.

17-14 PCC at halftime.

PCC went to the line trailing 52-51 with right around 30-40 seconds left for 1 and the bonuse (twice) and missed the front end of both free throws that would have tied the game and possibly game PCC the lead.

Knott will win the 14th

Professor, It was good seeing you tonight buddy.
