As someone who is just a casual fan/observer of 10th region boys and girls basketball, the thing that seems odd about this outcry against Coach Feldman, is that I don't recall reading or hearing any negative comments prior to this most recent loss. Did those who are unhappy, think that it was a foregone conclusion that the Lady Mustangs should beat the Lady Royals, hands down. I must admit, I would have preferred Brossart win this game, but Mason is a very talented, solid ball club, that is also very deep. Definitely no shame in a loss to them on their home floor, after Mason having suffered a loss in their district championship to Bracken Co.

I have heard Coach Feldman referred to as a top tier coach in the 10th region and knowing nothing more than watching his teams play, I concur.

Don't know about regular season. Mason County girls play a couple of games a year in The Fieldhouse - their home court is the old Maysville High School gym downtown. The Fieldhouse is not their home court.

 

As far as I know, the Title IX powers-that-be haven't come knocking yet.
