The 9th is going to be ridiculous, yet again. When you have a losing team with that much horsepower like NDA, Highlands, and Conner have...insane! These games are going to be great to watch. Good luck to everyone in the 9th. I'm assuming the draw is Sunday?

Was hoping to see NDA pull this one out, but glad they're still going to the regional tournament. Holy Cross is a great team! Congrats to both.

Totally biased but Smith played well. Scored 13, not sure how many rebounds. Not her top rebounding night & missed a couple free throws but she played to win. Can't be upset with that

I said it on our broadcast numerous times last night about how impressed I was with Smith. She plays hard and has a nice inside/medium range game. very nice touch around the rim IMO.

 

Holding Kellam & Clemons under their averages and Ogle not scoring a point were huge factors in HC winning this game. HC's on ball defense was solid again last night especially on the perimeter. Good luck to both teams next week.

Conner is 4-11 in their last 15 games...ND and Highlands are not the same teams they were 2013. Both are still strong teams but without D1 players, stability takes a major hit. It's been said all year long, the 9th region is wide open...although NCC has shown the most consistency in their game.

Maybe, but NCC has lost to two of the District runner-ups which shows how much up for grabs the 9th region is.
