Pretty sure that final score is right. It was HC by 3

HC held the ball up 34-33. ND fouled to put them at line for 1 and 1 with 12 seconds left. Holy Cross missed and ND went down and missed shot right under rim with 2 seconds left. Had to foul on rebound. HC made 2 shots for 3 point lead and final margin.

Fun game to watch despite it being low scoring.

 

NDA sat in a TIGHT zone for most of the game. Dared HC to shoot the 3. The frosh guard (don't remember her name) hit a couple of 3s early which seemed to open up the zone a bit for McClendon to drive. NDA is lucky McClendon missed so many shots because she was great at getting to the lane for her runner. The twins as well as Smith for NDA were all solid.

I got there an hour early because I figured the place would be packed tonight. Decent crowd but lots of open space. Surprising.

Great game. Would've liked to have seen some more fire from the Pandas but hoping the flames start shooting next week!! McClendon sure is fun to watch!!
