February 24, 201412 yr Man he was great, recently watched Animal House...it is almost perfect! The world is a little less funny today... I saw where someone else said that same thing... We've lost one of the great ones.
February 24, 201412 yr Easily the most quoted comedy writer ever by me and my group of friends. Animal House, Stripes, Caddyshack, Ghostbusters, Meatballs, Groundhog Day, etc. He will be missed.

Maybe the most prolific four years in comedy writing history: 1978 - Animal House 1979 - Meatballs 1980 - Caddyshack 1981 - Stripes Enough can't be said for the pairing of brilliant comedic actors (in this case, primarily Belushi and Murray) with brilliant comedy writing. It's awesome when they come together.
