Well, if you had someone that could run a 4.5 sec 40 (40 yards = 120 feet)...you take 3/4 of that (to get 90 feet), and that works out to 3.38...so, I don't think that's out of the realm of possibility. You just have to remember that for every Hamilton-like guy flying down the line, there's guys like Ryan Hannigan whose speed is measure by a sun dial, to even it out, and bring down the average.

I'm impressed that he is making the effort to work the count. I wouldn't put too much stock into the results however. This is spring training where a lot of veterans are working on adding or refining an additional pitch and aren't worried about results and youngsters that aren't ready are heavily involved. He's got to show more with the bat than he exhibited in AAA last year or they'll just pound the strike zone on him and dare him to do something with it. I'll go under on the 75 steals.

Less than 30 at bat sample size but zero strikeouts so far is promising.
March 9, 201412 yr Less than 30 at bat sample size but zero strikeouts so far is promising. Color me skeptical. He isn't going to do better than he did in the minors as far as strikeout rate. For what it is worth Neftali Soto has also not struck out...and Adam Dunn had only struck out once.
