Newport Central Catholic not New Cent Cath .

I've told this story before but the only other game I've seen stopped for floor moisture besides CCH/NCC this year was Conner/NCC at NCC in about 2000 or so.

 

I played in that game, and it was an awful way to play basketball.. Ranked #1/#2 in the region at the time of the game..

 

Can't imagine the crowd for this game will be anywhere near that size.. Conner students used to travel in full force, not so much anymore.. It's disappointing to see

 

Don't think this will be a trap game since its @ NCC.. If it was in Hebron maybe.. Conner always tough at home

Brossart/NCC on Feb. 19th, 2004 stopped in third quarter due to excessive floor condensation.

Conner's tallest player is Hemmerich who is about 6'3 ish. Lamblez, Way, and Watts are all in the 6'0 range, give or take.

Hard to see Conner overcoming the height/talent disparity, although they did go up to the hill 2 years ago and upset NCC on senior night. Never say never.....

Conner will look very little unfortunately.

Sure they can. However, that takes really good talent out of the game.

Schulte out front at the top of the circle has been the method in the past. Wingspan eliminates a lot of outside shots.

I look for a 20pt. beatdown.

 

IMO: No way this is a trap game for NCC
