This was closer than what I would have thought.

Some tweets saying that Gilbert became the all time leading scorer in Scott Co history tonight. Don't know if that is accurate or not, but I saw more than one Card fan post it.

It's definitely possible. He had 2,300 plus at the Toyota Classic.

But for Trent to do this, it would have to include his points from 8th grade when he played varsity at Wolfe County. Don't know how schools deal with those types of situations. I had heard SCHS wasn't sure how to handle it.

Either way his total is impressive.

@Tman2332: Okay T gillie u leading scoring in school history! A lot of big names came out of there proud of u my g! @TrentGilbert12 #cardforever

@Tman2332: Scott county has had some greats proud of my bro man forreal he helped me end my sr yr right way!

I believe my numbers for Trent are 2,482 career points... still nothing official from SCHS coaches yet, though.

Trent Gilbert is a nice player. Great scorer of the basketball.

Who knows what schools are looking at him?

I really think he could be a sleeper on the next level.

Eastern must have played very well to keep the game this close.

Tennessee Tech offered I believe

I have heard that the University of Florida and the College of William and Mary are looking at Trent Gilbert.

I have been told that Florida assistant John Pelphrey loves Trent Gilbert's game.

The Gators have a pretty good 2-star player right now in guard Scottie Wilbekin.
