Wayne Co. will have a pair in two years with Blevins and Stearns if they keep up their current pace (which I expect). Woods will probably hit 2000 next year. Not quite Elliott Co, but not too far off.

I wondered if he got to 2,000 & figured he did. Did he score more than Ethan & Evan?

Gosh, I'm not sure, but if I'm not mistaken, he eclipsed the mark his senior season. I'll see if I can find it.

Here's the thread on it, not sure of his total, but my guess is he passed both Evan and Ethan.

Elliott's run was surely fun to follow. Lost a quarter-final game to Warren Central that first year (2007.) Lost that first round game to Mason County 66-62 (2008.) Then made it to the semi-finals (in 2009) before losing to eventual champion Covington Holmes 65-57 to finish 32-3.

My brother-in-law teaches at Elliott County & he took me to see the Faulkner boys & Ferguson play when they were either in the 6th or 7th grade. They were playing JV at the time. I was instantly impressed & followed them throughout their HS careers. Fun bunch to watch.
