Is this the same SK team that is supposed to win the 8th EVERY year?

One time they've been the favorite. But what are facts...

Oldham Co is underrated and well coached. They lost all 5 (sr) starters and another senior this year. They will make some noise in the 8th Region tourney again.

SK plays the Camels Tuesday.

It is, indeed, interesting at how little buzz Oldham has generated. Despite having a new coach, a new system, and five new starters, the Colonels now sport an 18-5 record with an 8 game winning streak heading into mid-February.....

I always get a kick out of this annual comment. SK has about 10 fans on this site which is probably the most of any 8th region program. I guess you would believe they were going to win the region every year since they have more members posting. Be proud knowing we were the last current 8th region program to bring home that gigantic trophy. Oh and by the way, if your team ever wins one, it won't require a custom made trophy case.

Those old trophies were big, weren't they? I happened to be at Seneca HS in Louisville on Saturday, and was looking at their old state championship trophies from 1963 and 1964. They're huge! Nothing like today's trophies.
