Surely We All Agree This Is Over the Top, Right?

Sad.

A couple of other adjectives come to mind, but sad is the most appropriate.

One of the most interesting "units" we did in 10th grade World History was comparative religions.

Sad.

So as a Christian do you want me to say.

Yeah hey stop all teaching of God in school

Absolutely do not mention any reference to Jesus during Christmas

If a kid ask about Easter, tell them the real reason is The bunny and Jesus is fake

Now if my school started doing a lot of stuff me as a parent didn't like, then I would move schools, especially if About 90%f the school all agreed. I wouldn't be the one parent who ruins it for everyone.

It's not sad that I think what I do about Christianity and it's role in school.

Do I want my kids to learn about other religions, YES. Do I want other religions shoved down their throat, no.

Allowing religion into public schools and trying to indoctrinate others to your religion are two different things. You do realize you're agreeing in method with Muslim extremists, don't you?

Churches and families take care of religious training. Why do we need it in public schools?

I agree that public schools shouldn't promote any one religion. But I also want to be clear I don't think religion should be outlawed from school entirely.

I agree. Christianity should be discussed in a historical context, not avoided, since one could argue it was the major driver of Western civilization over the past 1,500 years. School children need to know about Luther, the fall of Constantinople, the Crusades, etc.

It's illegal for Christians to pray in public school, according to the U.S. Supreme Court. But in Michigan, Muslims are being given special prayer privileges by school administrators

Should Muslims Be Allowed to Pray in Public Schools? Michigan Says 'Yes'

What if the school system was advocating the teaching of Catholicism , the original and only True Christian religion .
