HC has definitely moved into my top 4 without a doubt. Right now my top 4 are:

1a)Highlands

1b) CovCath (both teams are close, but HHS is ahead at this point, even after losing to HC)

1c) Holy Cross (closer now to both these teams, including a win over Highlands, and first round with CCH will be a battle)

4) Holmes (Falling off the radar, but still Holmes and I think they can pull it together)

How is Highlands number one? They beat CCH early in the season by one at home. They just got beat by HC.

My top 4 are.

1.CCH

2. HC

3. HHS

4. Holmes

Haha that is a pretty good cheer though, have to admit. Obviously not phased though. Great kid, glad he had a solid night.

Not that great I'm sure CCH student section will have something better for Sorrel.

Point taken, and I see why you're saying that. I just feel that all 3 teams are very very close at the top and all 3 have proved vulnerable and I feel that all 3 are tied at the top, but that HHS gets the advantage. Of course I would love for the 35th to be 1,2,3 but I think on a nuetral court... say Ryle?... That HHS would do better than at HC (no homecourt advantage, and at HC that is huge).

We may just pull something out.. :flame: ;) In all seriousness though, I like Cory, I used to give him rides home sometimes, and he was always very positive. I want him to do well.. just not against CCH.

I have seen all the top teams in the past three weeks or so and I would have to agree the best two teams in the region today are Holy Cross & CovCath. It's so crazy that they have to play the first game of the districts, but that's the way it's been for the past 40 years. CCH, HC & Holmes in the same district except for the few years Holmes went to the old 35th.

It really "cheapens" the regional tournament by not having both these teams have the opportunity to be eligible.

One of these three teams really needs to be back in the 34th district!

:thumb: Year in and Year out these teams are always in the top 6 in this region. With a few exceptions.

But the district is seeded, and that's the way it should be. It's very unfortunate that HC is playing up to potential only in the past few weeks and not about a month ago, or it would be HC Holmes first round, which is still a tough game. The number 1 seed is the only one mostly assured of a regional trip, and not even that is certain.

Well if Scott scored 42 and Howard scored 40, who scored the other 2. I'm guessing it was Nate Sharp because we didnt have anyone to stay with him either. (am i right Tiger?)

HHS is still #1 in my book. HC is playing well but if I remember correctly, HHS sort of blew the HC game.

They lost by 1 tonight to Shelby. HC is on a nice roll. They're #4 or #5 in my book right now.

Howard was right around 10 with only 2 FG...

No posts from Tiger1, Bigstick, or Dirtybird? I'll let them talk first! Senior night!

Only two field goals, well I guess HC didn't have anyone who could stay with him then. Period.

:ylsuper: Just like an earlier post!

Lantry is definitly not the player Sharp is..... haha

If I can dish it out, then I am big enough to take it.

Holy Cross's players played a great game and convinced me that they could beat CovCath in next week's district game.

Holy Cross outplayed and out coached Scott in every phase of the game.

Good Luck to the Indians the rest of the year!
