Any Feedback on 2017 Trinity QB Larry Harper III

Very good family. Know some people who played with him and said he is one of the best quarterbacks they have ever seen. Anxious to see how he does the next 3.5 years.

I saw him a few times this past year on the freshman level & he is a heck of a QB, just hoping he has a growth spurt soon!

Yeah all the negative comments I have heard have been about his height. Has an 8th (I think) grade brother who is about the same size he is but not half the player.

Googled him and found some highlights...pretty impressive...

I disagree. The brother was a beast on both sides of the ball leading St. Patrick's to another Toy Bowl title. I look forward to him in the offensive backfield at Trinity in the future.

Nice looking kid. I wouldn't be ready to anoint someone who is that short and who didn't complete a pass that wasn't open by at least 5 yards.

After watching that video...he looks like a very nice player for a freshman...as well as another sign that Trinity is quickly coming back to earth in terms of their personnel. That ain't what Hatcher, Quick, Robey, Whiting, Dawkins and Co. looked like when they were Freshmen...

The QB Harper looks good. Reminds me a bit of Petrino...he will be a sophomore so he has room to grow and mature.

His brother looks more impressive...granted it's an 8th grade film.

I heard he completed over 2000 yards in passing. What does that have to do with size? He looks to be the size of former QB will stein now and he's still only 14 yrs old... So I'm pretty sure he still has time to grow.

Surprised this kid didn't play JV for his development. Was the JV QB a stud also? Who starts next season at QB?

The JV QB (Ryan Young) was a Junior and started all the JV games and played all the meaningful minutes for the JV team. He passed for 26TDs with only 2INTs (only 8 games) and the JV team averaged 34 points a game versus the same schedule as the Varsity minus Ensworth. They had impressive wins at Indy Cathedral (5TD passes), at Lou St. X (3TD passes), at Cincy Colerain (4TD passes) and at Cindy Moeller (4TD passes).

I'm assuming Manny is going to attend Trinity as well? This tape is impressive. I wish I had some Charles Walker CSAA film to compare it to, but those are definitely the two best backs to come out of CSAA. Wow!
