this was the 1st thing that came to my mind. Who wins is really no concern for me, just hope I see a good game.

BTW, who is going to this one........really hope to meet AME1981, I've got some medical advice for him. :lol2:

My son and I will be in the house. Friday, I'll treat you to a dog and a Gatorade since I'll be hosting. :thumb:

I honestly can't pick a winner. That's what intrigues me about this game to begin with, and one of a few that I've anticipated most this season.

It's pretty much 50/50 with me, so I'll just say it goes into overtime with a score of 50-50 before it's ultimately decided.

This game, as we all know, will tell us a lot about where they stand with each other, however both coaches also know they'll inevitably meet again in the districts, and even possibly again in the regionals, so being the clever foxes that both coaching staffs are, there's no doubt they'll both be holding back from showing each other everything they've got.

LB13, make Mentsch buy you a slice of Pizza, it is much tastier than a dog! Stop by as you know where I am sitting at!

Make sure you stop down and say Hi.

Looking forward to seeing a great game and all the BGP'ers.

Both coaches HATE to lose. I can almost guarantee they are going to try to do everything in their scouting report to win.

I am going to try to make it out to this one. Looking forward to a good game and to see some fellow BGP members.

I don't have a prediction as I haven't seen CCH play so it wouldn't be an informed guess.

I'll buy that, as this game sorta has a regional final feel to it, as well as it just flat out being a rival district game, and both teams currently come in undefeated in the region etc etc etc... It's important for lots of reasons. Even if they have to show everything, I imagine both coaches hate having to pay that price to get the "W", but like you say, they'll do everything they can to get it.

While I do believe both coaches will do whatever they can to win unlike previous seasons this is just for fun, bragging rights, and scouting. These two teams will meet again for the 35th championship game.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

2nd best last second shot in a HS basketball game I've seen in person. I may be biased. :thumb:

My fave was 93 region finals. Troy Fryman from the elbow.

Didn't see that one, I was about a month removed from my discharge from the Navy. I was hoping someone would catch the gist of my post.

The HC All "A" Berger (wasn't it) shot being your #1?

Matchups:

Bolden v Ruthsatz

McClendon v VonHandorf

Housely v Heppler

Chames v Schuh

Hill v Schult

Haven't seen CCH yet but from seeing them practice and work out throughout the summer and their stats thus far, I assume that is the 5 starters.

I don't think you'll see Nick on Bolden. Heck, I'm not sure if CCH will play man or zone.
