I agree with Clyde on the QBs playing in this game.

The one head scratcher for me is how does a kid like Heard get this type of high recruiting? I don't get it. He is a dime a dozen running QB IMO. He can't throw, and to be able to commit 2 years ago as a sophomore for Texas puzzles me beyond end. Now you hear Ucla and another big D1 school is interested in him....I don't get it. Good for him and all, but give me a kid like Kuntz over him anyday. I can think of 3 QB's just in this area I'd take over him. If you want a running QB then go get one of the best RBs in Texas to play QB for Texas if that's what they want. That is a stretch I know, but Heard really puzzled me.

Heard is a stud. You need to see him play at Denton Guyer to really appreciate all that he brings to the table.

QB for the defending 2X 4A Texas state champs. This highlight tape shows him against 5A national power Southlake Carroll and in the 4A title game as a junior.

You are really going to judge a kid on one game with teammates he's barley practiced with ?

Nice job by Hellbird for the updates.

Thanks!

9 future Buckeyes played in this one

Erick Smith and Marshon Lattimore gave their verbal during this game.

I was judging him, and also said I may be too harsh, on them saying he verbally committed as a sophomore and he is a running QB. That is what the head scratcher was.

How a big D1 program recruits a small sophomore QB who can't throw. Still don't get it, as a sophomore.

Heck, colleges offer 8th graders... At least he was halfway through his high school career.

I watched the video....as I said he's a running QB. I still don't understand how a big time D1 program goes after a sophomore small sized QB that is basically a running QB.

Not trying to be harsh on the kid but I don't get it.

I don't get it. Louisville's coach who is heading to Texas is probably hoping he chooses UCLA now lol. I did not see anything today that stood out except he likes to run.

Yes he only got a week of practice with these other boys but he clearly was outplayed by everyone else taking snaps today.

Good luck to him and I hope I'm wrong but today he wasn't very good
