Pendleton kept switching defenses and kept Crawford in check for 3 quarters. Once he turned in on offensively, the defense kicked in as well. BC took a lead with 10 seconds left. A Lance Jones jumped was short, but an Adam Koeninger putback at the horn sends it to OT. Bracken builds a lead, yet PC ties it up with less than a minute to go. Austin Crawford is fouled with 5.6 to go and hits both. Hunter wood takes the inbounds pass and goes coast to coast! but his layup finds the bottom of the rim. Polar Bears survive 76-74.

These two should play twice a year, every year. The atmosphere was incredible. It felt like an old school 38th district battle.

I've been to all the PC games this year, except the 3 in SC and 2 in the Bracken tournament. This is the 4th game at least where the Cats held double digit leads and lost. The 4th quarter has not been kind to us at all.

Jones is having a pretty good season for Pendleton County.

 

He's playing better than any of us imagined he would. I think he deserves all-region consideration.
