Me especially. The Camels have to solve their ball-handling issues, sounds like turnovers were a problem again tonight.

 

Mike Code is about as good as it gets -- Brossart is such a talented and likable team.

Imo campbell offense was brutal to watch. Not much movement and to much 1 on 1. Hopefully they can work things out and come back strong in districts

On the Camels side, Matt Wilson was very solid. 18 points and 12 boards. He also did a pretty good job defending Burns.

When I saw Campbell earlier, I was amazed at how large Matt was now. Young man has a bright future.

This wasn't a pretty game to watch, though the atmosphere was outstanding. The Brossart supporting cast (Jennings, Rieger, & Hackworth) was very impressive. The two big boys get most of the attention, and deservedly so, but tonight belonged to those three kids. Jennings was setting people up to score all night long. Hackworth was knocking down the 3-ball, & Rieger just does a little bit of everything.

 

Concerning Campbell...this was a totally different team than the one I saw play CovCath not all that long ago. Wilson played well & was probably the best player on the floor tonight, but he had little help. Camels had a lot of turnovers, missed layups, & just seemed out of sync on the offensive side all night long. It looked like they were playing their first game of the year. Both teams looked like that in the first half, but Brossart improved greatly in the 2nd half.

They went to Wilson one their second offensive possession & he scored without any problem. They didn't look a lot for him the rest of that first quarter. He did most of his damage in the 2nd half, but your assessment isn't a bad one.
