Nice shooting game for Grant after a rough game yesterday. He has struggled with his shot lately, but in the past has been a very good shooter. Once he gets his shot/confidence back it will make NCC that much tougher. Hope it continues.

Great confidence boast for Grant.

You go Tanner, that's the spirit!!! :ylsuper:

Very confident and I am sure well intended, but if I were his coach I'd want this to stay in the lockerroom. I'm old school, though. I wouldn't want to give Holmes, CCH and Dixie anything to put on their bulletin board. Very solid two weeks for the BREDS. They will be a force no doubt.

Agree, but sometimes what is said on here can be used just the same. :lol2:

14 pts, 6 rbs for McDonald.

24 pts, 6 ast for Justice

And Mike Fields tweeted the final was 59-56 not 56-53

Box Score, 56-53

Looks like 12 players total saw action tonight.

Knott Central still played a good tournament and represented themselves and their region well. The 18 point loss to Lexington Catholic is a little misleading in that the Patroits were within 4 points with just over 3 minutes left in the game, and was forced to foul LC over and over. So now they've split with LC, winning by 12 in Hindman and losing on LC's court. And a 3 point loss to NCC is nothing to hang their heads about. NCC is a very big and talented team.

I don't believe KCC is in the All A this year, so no chance of these teams meeting up again unless it's in the Sweet 16 in Rupp. But KCC could have their work cut out for them just getting out of the 14th, especially if Cordia is able to get Hines eligible and Hazard does the same with their 3 eastern Euro players. And then there's also Perry Central with Johnson and Beverly still a high possibility of making it to the Big Show. There should be some great games in the 14th the rest of the season and I'm going to try to get out to see as many as possible.

Think that two are supposedly from Serbia and one is supposedly from Angola.

I have a question. Why do kids from Europe and Canada transfer to schools in Hazard/Eastern KY. No offense to Eastern Kentuckians but what is the lure?

Your info is probably correct. I was just going on hearsay.

I had heard 2 were from Serbia and 1 from another Eastern European nation, but the person who told me wasn't sure. He did say that one of them was about 6'7 or 6'8 and was a very good player. If so then they should really raise the status of Hazard up a notch or two.

Peaceful, tranquil living, beautiful mountains, friendly people, and loyal fan bases that fill up the gyms . At least that's what does it for me. But I was born and raised in the mountains so I'm a little biased, lol.
