December 23, 201312 yr Thats how a lot of us are. doesn't mean we don't love this team. What does get me however is when fans lie. What I mean by that is when fans deny saying anything negative at times such as yesterday when Gresham fumbled. My son was at the game and said everyone around him was pissed and said things to Gresham etc. yet there are some that have the nerve to tell me that they were also at the game and no one said anything negative about the fumble. I went to games for 30+ years and know exactly how fans at the games react. To lie about it because you don't want to admit tthat you even have negative thoughts about a play is even worse in my eyes. I'mnot talking about you BM, the person I'm talking about knows. Just don't be phony is all this fan has ever asked. I know who you were talking about. I was just making the point we all react differently. I was ticked when Gresham fumbled and, as I have stated, said to my brother that Gresham's time here may be up. I think most on here try and be realistic, but we see things differently. We have to realize that none of us really know what goes on behind the scenes and probably shouldn't. None of us are pro football talent evaluators. We have different levels of understanding. I know that there are those that think that wherever you sit in the stadium makes you an expert, but for instance, yesterday the Vikes pass defense was so bad, that Dalton literally had 2 - 4 people wide open and could just choose. I saw that from row 13 on the 6 yard line. We all watch the game differently, also. My gosh, I am the only one in my fmaily that thinks Marvin should stay. They always say why and I can't always give good reasons, but having been a season ticket holder for 33 years, the last ten years have been the best I have witnessed over a period of time. Probably in the minority, but I can live with it.
December 23, 201312 yr Do me a favor, stop while your only a little behind. Please go ahead and do so. But please include my whole statement on it. Please include the part that is directly talking and referencing the negative comments about Andy that you had that I was referring too. So as long as you include the whole part in the p m of us discussing it that's fine.because I made it quite clear what negative comments I was talking about and how the fans were not being negative about Andy.

You asked for it, I apologize for doing this, unlike you, I don't take pleasure in calling someone out. "Well take today for example and all the negative post you had early on. I was at the game in lower section and didn't hear any on those comments you mentioned in the update thread and Andy and other things." You see my friend, you were talking about what I was saying in the update thread at the beginning of the game and guess what? What was talkied about most from me in negative comments had to do with Gresham mostly. You then added the Andy but even said "And other things" which means other tthings I was talking about besides Andy which was GRESHAM...go back and read that pdate thread, thhe first page is what you referred to, sorry fc, I didn't want to and even asked you in 3 pm's not to push it because I didn't want to call you out on this, but you insisted. Now please let this go and lets move on to talk about this thread and the bengals....not eachother, this thread and the team is much bigger and deserves better than to hear us go back and forth.
December 23, 201312 yr For everyone else in this thread, I apologize for the back and forth between FC and me. I would rather talk about the team and was dragged into this by no fault of my own. Please lets talk about the team and leave the rest of the garbage in this thread behind.

Convenient how you leave the last line out of it. Which that last line basically wraps it all together to show I was talking mostly about Andy. Doesn't surprise me that you conveniently leave that out when you first post it. Now I do agree let's get back to this game. We can continue ours in p m s

How bout the Ravens impllsion yesterday, hope they play the same next week.

Probably in the minority, but I can live with it. Couldn't agree more with your post. As far as Marvin, I think this is actually his best year since he's been here. He still has some very bad issues when it comes to coaching. His game management is still **** poor, he still has problems ppreparing a team and he sitll has problems with pre snap penalties which have plagues him since he ccame here although yesteday was probably the bestt this year when it comes to that. I just thnk he's done all he can do and time to find someone to take us over that hump. The best thing yestrday and the MVP of the game imo was the O-Line. Unfortuntaly if they move Whittt back to tackkle this team may be in trouble. He is much better playing guard and our line is much better with someone else playing tackle. That was the most impressive thing about yesterdays game. Theyneed to work on kick coverage big time.
December 23, 201312 yr Alright, I'll be the bigger man here. How bout the Ravens impllsion yesterday, hope they play the same next week. That was very bad. I think our defense will do well. Hopefully Andy can keep doing well. Division games he usually has not played that we'll. Hopefully good Andy stays if he does I think we win by double digits. If it's average to bad Andy then I think it comes down to the very end of the game again.

Depending on how the playoffs go should be what determines if he is back or not. I think he will be back no matter what because I don't see Brown firing him after making the playoffs. However in my opinion he should be fired if they don't win in the playoffs. They need to take that next step.
December 23, 201312 yr Now this is a great post. I definite understand people who we're around back in the 80s and miss that and became so down on this team through the years. My point all along is we have a team now that has been built right the last three years. Which is plenty of reason to be excited and positive about, which you have shown. It's afun time. What I didn't realize was how even in the 80s with the super bowls how few times they still made playoffs. They did obviously do something with it though once they got in lol hopefully this year's team can do the same. I mentioned before the season that Bengals and playoffs are becoming a common theme which we fans should be happy about. Now it's time for the boys to take the next step though. Who dey! 80's were nothing to shout about either. Most years 500 or less. Two and a half good seasons. If I'm not mistaken the past 3 years have tied for the most wins in a three year period.

If I'm not mistaken the past 3 years have tied for the most wins in a three year period. Which I know those teams did something in the playoffs. However I never understood why this city had such a hard time getting behind this team the last few years. It's not like this city is use to having a perennial playoff team. I know the hatred for Mike Brown but we have what we been wanting. A team built the right way a team we can win with. Now it's time to take that next step! Who dey
December 23, 201312 yr Haven't read a post in this thread yet, and don't intend to. Just wanted to let ya all know you can thank me for Andy's great game yesterday. I gave him a pep talk Saturday, and it paid off.

I gave him a pep talk Saturday, and it paid off. The guy played amazing! Which is whats frustrating about him sometimes, he can play so good and then at sometimes so bad lol. The talent on this offense really shows when he spreads the ball around. Really impressive!!
December 24, 201312 yr Did you see that on sports center last night? If so they had it wrong because I saw it too. The first tie breaker is head to head. The Bengals would get the 2 seed in a three waytie the Colts need both the Bengals and pats to lose to get it. I saw it on the close of the Sunday night broadcast. Didn't put much thought into what they were showing and just posted what had been reported. I'd say my bad, but since I was just relaying bad info, someone else must be to blame.
