Exactly. I'm sure they have heard and seen much much worse.

 

If that sign is the worst thing you've seen at a game, I could take you to some that would give you a heart attack.

I don't think it is being made that big of a deal. I just find it in poor taste and yes, I'm sure we've all seen worse. I don't know Brad and have no idea if it bothers him or not but I would not allow the sign if I was the principal. I believe that Wireman said the sign disappeared so perhaps the principal or AD agrees with me.

It's been whined about on Facebook, websites, twitter.....yeah, for me that's too much. It's not like they threatened his life or destroyed his iPhone. They made a sign.

 

Or maybe the sign just disappeared because they didn't want to look bad or maybe some of the other kids told them not to put it up. Kids do that from time to time. Disrespect each other when no one is looking. Wireman was there and he didn't mention anything about the AD or the principal telling them to put it up. He just said it disappeared. Maybe, just maybe, the kids may have felt ashamed to put it up for too long.

Just makes it worse for Brad. The taunting and heckling is going to cause student sections to try to outdo each other every time they play on the road. He'll be the sympathetic figure for the remainder of his high school career. Maybe he should reach out to Dakota Euton.

Don't know about anyone else but my concern is just for the kid and would be the same no matter who the dad is or where he coaches. Sounds like Coach Cal handles it with class and hopefully his son is not bothered by it either.

If he is bothered I hope he develops some thicker skin. Season just started this week.

For real. Let's be realistic. Kid's Dad is a celebrity millionaire. Not to be all whatever about it, but I'm sure that in the grand scheme of things for him, some kids at Boyle County with an unoriginal sign that compliments his Dad probably doesn't register on his radar after the press at Memphis and weekly Tipton columns.

Boyle fans have never been know for their class.
