I've had a couple of decades of experience sitting behind the scorers table at basketball games. Here are my observations related to this topic:

 

1) I dislike both loudmouth men AND women, particularly if you are sitting within a few feet of the scorers table. It makes my job more difficult.

2) I don't think that there are more women than men in that category. I'd honestly say that it's probably the reverse. However, I think that the the ones with lesser sports knowledge tend to be noticed more and that category may contain more women.

 

An opinion - until you've been an official or a coach at the level that you're watching, I don't think that you should hammer too hard at officials or coaches.

 

Lastly, my least favorite (repetitive) comment that I hear at basketball games deal with fans or coaches wanting the fouls to be evened up. Please show me any rule that requires an equitable distribution of fouls. :lol2:

I agree those penny jugs are too small. I much prefer mommas with big ole juggs. At least quarter or 50 cent juggs for me.

One of my favorites too. I had someone ask me about that once after a game, and I said, "I'm sure it had nothing to do with your team sitting out on the perimeter all night long chucking threes while the opponents were driving to the bucket every possession."

Loudmouth women are a problem wherever they are. I instituted a zero tolerance policy on them years ago. Cost me a great deal of money, but was worth every penny.
