Beechwood 49 Bracken County 0

I agree it is time to get back the real playoff's with the 1 seen gets a bye and 2 & 3 play. I hate to see team's with a losing record and some 0 - 10 go make the playoff's. A loser should not get a carrot because they participated. If a team deserves to play so be it not a loser. JD

I give props to the Bracken County kids, they did play hard the entire game, they were just outmatched. With that said I agree that the system needs to be revamped, no doubt in my mind BW lost money hosting the game last night. I thought I only counted 18 Bracken County fans in the stands, but I will defer to OSD who said he counted 31.

I'll tell you why... Not even the Bracken Parents wanted to be there. I counted exactly 31 Bracken County fans. That's not even 2 fans per player. There were more Cheerleaders, Coaches and players on the sideline than there were fans in the stands.

That was the worst Football team I have ever seen play Varsity Football. Sorry to any Bracken County fans/players, but it is the the cold hard truth.

Support in Brooksville is the BIGGEST problem. People don't understand/like football, and don't bother with it unless the weather is pleasant. There is little administrative support and even less community support. Numbers at the pee-wee and jr high levels are improving, so a few years until it gets better.

This is VERY true!

There was solid support the night Bracken came to visit us. I know their elementary teams fared well, but that doesn't always mean success is around the corner.

When BW middle school played Bracken County in the middle school championship game Bracken was well represented by their fans, and their middle school team had at least 35 kids, some of them pretty darn big, I hope that the tide turns at Bracken County, I think they have a chance to be a solid program, but the community is going to have to get behind them.

There just isn't much to say about this one for the Tigers. Total domination. Fieger threw a couple nice balls. Studer was impressive.

Bracken County sure runs a strange offense. They are all bunched up as tight as can be and run dives and off tackle power plays non stop. They played hard all night. The QB had a couple nice hard runs. The good news is no one was injured. Moving on to next week.

The first few games of the season Bracken ran a 4 wide spread offense. #15, the QB at the time (he was replaced by 8 the last game I saw, not sure what happened) is a very good thrower but they had a lot of trouble completing passes. Thus I believe they went with the bunch formation to attempt the old 4 yards and a cloud of dust routine!

#15 (Logan Houston) had to have shoulder surgery mid way through the season, reason for the change at QB. He was also to be the ACE of the baseball team.

Also, speaking of lack of support Coach Sizemore has very little help he works extremely hard, but it is hard to run a football program by himself.
