In the three games Moeller has seen from Louisville Trinity, the Shamrocks used 27 different formations and 15 different motions

Moeller by a bunch.

Would love to see the Shamrocks win not only to see Moeller lose, but it would also boost Colerain's L2 Harbin points but reality tells me that this Moeller team doesn't want to enter the post-season losing two in a row.

 

The Crusaders are big, strong and their QB is a dual-QB threat that will account for more yards than Bonnafon.

 

Look for the Men of Moeller to bring a W back to the Queen City.

If the Crusaders are all that and some change, then why did they struggle to defeat Pike, the Bombers, and LaSalle? I understand their weather related showing against the Tigers.....I do not feel they are a juggernaut this year.

Fair questions.

 

Pike: it was the first game of the year, new QB, and Pike was athletically superior to Moeller. And Moeller still won the game.

 

St. Xavier: the Bombers always are stout defensively and this year isn't much different. Plus, they match up really well with Moeller. X could have won that game in OT if they would have kicked the FG and held but Specht and staff went for the jugular. Plus it's a GCL game. And the Crusaders won that game.

 

Lasalle: no explanation. They may have just been off that day. But again, it is a GCL game and Moeller still won.

 

Trinity's challenge will be slowing this offense down. I see the Rocks scoring points, I just wonder if it will be enough.

I hope T and X make it a clean sweep of Ohio's powers this week. For a very rare instance, I'll say, "Go Rocks!"

I'm with the one poster that made reference to the Ensworth game. I was a believer then (even in a loss) and still think T can pull it off this year. Maybe not beat Moe, but they are still my pick to win the games that matter and win state this year. My gut tells me they will somehow pull it together. Experience goes a long way this time of year?
