McCracken County 42 Henderson County 28

Featured Replies

A big return and interception in the 2nd quarter by Henderson put the heat on the Mustangs big time! McCracken responded with their own big plays! The Colonels had a nice drive in the 3rd but McCracken had too many answers for the Henderson challenges! Christian Co. next week and then bring on the playoffs!!

Pretty much how I saw this one coming out. Good chance these 2 could meet up again in regional finals, but, Central Hardin, Meade Co and Butler could have a say, as well.

Really good game to watch. Difference was the two playmakers for McCracken Hughes and Jones. I thought Henderson's coach made a couple of really bad decisions that cost them dearly. Two good teams.

Congrats to the Mustangs!

McCracken is gonna be a tough out in the playoffs.

I agree 100%, but, they're gonna have to shore up the D quite a bit to make a DEEP run. There offense is stout and that'll keep them in a lot of games though.

Hughes is a beast. I really hated to hear he is only a soph. Henderson just didn't have an answer for him. Henderson did make some good adjustments at half and looked to really have the momentum in the 2nd. HEnderson had their chances after the long scoring drive then holding McCracken to a couple of 3 and outs, we just couldn't capitalize. I didn't like them going away from the power game after Alvin's success then when Richard Carter came up lame and Steiner was knocked out of the game it was pretty much over.

Great game by McCracken and congrats on the district title.
