Theoldguy Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 What a lousy night to play football in. Rain, sleet and 37/36 degrees outside with a wind of about 10 mph blowing all night long.

NamecipS Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Wow Mr Angel had a good night. How many yards did he have? Good job young man. Keep it up
Theoldguy Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Wow Mr Angel had a good night. How many yards did he have? Good job young man. Keep it up We don't do live stats for the Frosh, just the plays with the down and distance! Pass complete or incomplete and to whom, who ran and who made the tackle. Coaches will do the totals in a couple of days!
kyvince Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Did CovCath substitute early and often on Defense?
Bluedad Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Did CovCath substitute early and often on Defense? Yes - also think they had a few kids on the sidelines getting well for next week.
kyvince Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Yes - also think they had a few kids on the sidelines getting well for next week. Good to hear I was getting a bit concerned when I saw the 36 on the board. In the past two weeks they given up almost 80 points. That's a ton of points to give up in two games.
Walter Posted October 25, 2013 Author Posted October 25, 2013 Heard Angel was unreal tonight. Great young athlete for the Colonels. Also heard Dixie QB Hunter Meyer played well.
Theoldguy Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Good to hear I was getting a bit concerned when I saw the 36 on the board. In the past two weeks they given up almost 80 points. That's a ton of points to give up in two games. Dixie is a rather good team with two very good players in their starting QB and RB. Neither "D" last night in the rain/sleet wind and cold were doing a very good job of tackling the ball carriers, as again both teams were not tackling but instead trying to knock the ball carriers down. As was stated by BlueDad, more than just a few CovCath kids were in sweats pants due to injuries and most were from the "D" side of the ball. BTW it was very nice of both coaches, to play nearly every single player in this game. Good job guys
I4C Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Yes - also think they had a few kids on the sidelines getting well for next week. Are they playing Ryle next week in the championship? I was told tonight that the Ryle frosh were told last night was their last game and they needed to clean out their lockers today. That's coming from a parent with a kid on Ryles team. :idunno:
