October 24, 201312 yr I follow the NBA, but not as closely as some of you. Do those who pay closer attention believe James Harden is the league's fifth best player? I think he is the best shooting guard.

October 24, 201312 yr FYI. Harden's numbers last year. 25.9 ppg 5.8 asst 5 boards 1.8 spg 85 ft% 44fg% 37 3pt%. He was first in the league in FT attempts and 2nd in FT made. He led the NBA in FT attempts in the 4th quarter. While also being 6th in 3pters made. He gets to the rack and if you play off of him he hits three's. I don't see how anyone can call him one dimensional.

October 25, 201312 yr He was the best two guard in the NBA last year? No he wasn't Kobe was. One dimensional wasn't the best way to express my opinion either. I didn't realize his assist and rbs numbers were that high.

Harden is the most complete offensive 2guard today. I'm not saying he was as good as Kobe in his prime. I'm saying right now Harden is a bigger threat attacking the basket and shooting the three. If I were picking a two guard to be on my team this year I'd pick Harden . The Rockets had an identical record to the Lakers last year and is anyone going to argue that Harden had more to work with ?

For the reasons you mentioned and the recovery issues with Kobe. Just not sure what to expect out of him.
October 25, 201312 yr I think most experts think if OKC doesn't trade Harden they are front runners last year. OKC front office made a move to quick. But I wouldn't put Westbrook in the top 5.
