Is Harlan Co better than all 3? Dont forget Madison Southern, they got beat by 3points to Pulaski. Better not read the polls too much. Some teams have played a very hard schedule, accordign to some Harlan Co has lost to Belfry, Johnson Central, and a powerhouse team from TN.

The only team that has even a chance of beating Bowling Green is John Hardin. And right now, I wouldn't give them much of a chance.

One thing to keep in mind is that the winner of District 5 will host all playoff games. That would put a team like South Oldham or Scott in a good position as the home team, even if they might not necessarily be the best team.

That's true. Cooper, as a four seed, would have to go on the road to either Franklin or Anderson. Even though Cooper isn't nearly the team they were last year, that's still a tough first round game.

Franklin County and Anderson County will likely have two of the toughest first round match ups for a 1 or 2 seed. Whoever wins that district gets Cooper, and the runner up will get either Scott, SO, or Conner.

It's a tough region, whoever gets out of the region will be very battle tested and should win the semi final game I think.

 

It's just like last year, all the teams on this side of the bracket have tough games and should improve the team each and every week of the playoffs.
