Quarterback in shotgun

Running back to his left and right

Running back 3-4 yards behind the QB

Usually one rec at times 2

The team I watched run this usually ran the ball up the gut and did not score during the game.

When they the ball it was usually to the short side of the field with no blockers near the receiver.

Yep. Have seen it called a few names:

Diamond

Pistol Bone

Inverted Wishbone

See it every Saturday on T.V. and have seen it in high school many times.

Dana Holgorsen Recently introduced this at Oklahoma St. while he was OC and it has spread ever since.

Scott runs something pretty similar.

Scott's fullback is offset in front of the QB, which is even more unusual.

Yeah it sounds like the pistol with an inverted wishbone.
